MacReach Support
Last updated: May 27, 2026
MacReach connects your iPhone or iPad to your own Mac on the same local network. If something is not working, use the checklist below and include consent-safe diagnostics from the iOS app when contacting support.
Quick setup checklist
- Install and open MacReach Helper on your Mac.
- Keep your iPhone or iPad and Mac on the same Wi‑Fi/local network.
- Allow Local Network access when iOS asks.
- Grant Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring permissions on the Mac when prompted.
- Tap your Mac on the Nearby Macs radar in the iOS app.
Common issues
- Can’t see your Mac: open MacReach Helper, check both devices are on the same network, and turn on Local Network access in iOS Settings.
- Mac needs setup: approve Screen Recording, Accessibility, and Input Monitoring permissions on the Mac, then reconnect.
- Black screen or no control: Screen Recording controls viewing; Accessibility/Input Monitoring controls pointer and keyboard input.
- Connection drops: keep both devices awake and close to Wi‑Fi, then reopen MacReach Helper if the Mac restarted.
